I also know there are a few tweaks to be made inside of the RIB for certain functions. Which means all Shader Mixer shaders are not usable Ive played around with the export settings so much, Im sure Ive covered all the bases to rule out whats causing the problem. This works because in Renderman you are going to use the Displacement map to bring most of the details. I guess it should work provided all 3Delight Shaders are replaced with equivalent versions for RMAN. Export from ZBrush a decimated model with the UVs to Substance Painter, so you can paint and apply masks that grabs most of the details you did in ZBrush.

It will be interesting to see if anyone makes a direct render plug-in to support Renderman once v. allowing more of the 16 bit range to be devoted to the dark levels.

In practice I'd expect at least some problems, and of course the file isn't terribly editable. TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) is the standard used by RenderMan and many Mac and. I tried color corecting my image sequence in after effects but did not achieve what I wanted however I only tried breify. The image in 3ds max is exactly how I want it. (see attachment) I tried disaabling gamma correction but did not like the effects it had on the image. In theory RIB export should be usable in Renderman, since 3Delight is Renderman-compliant and RIB is a Renderman format. Change the theme to white, export your work and then change back to dark theme if you want to use that. I dont understand why the file that saves to my computer is darker than the 3ds max preview render.
